It comes with gold-plated lever back hooks to keep them secure and uses recycled rubber. Each piece is meticulously worked with traditional hand embroidery patterns and colours used in indigenous clothing and accessories of the AGJ community of women. 

Pair with our Mahira necklace and/or Mala necklace . Wear them with everything from crisp shirts to blazers.

The perfect statement earrings to accent your pastel and bright coloured outfits this season. These gorgeous embroidered flat disc earrings come with gold-plated posts and stoppers and are made using recycled rubber. This piece is meticulously worked in a traditional hand embroidery floral pattern with pearlised cotton thread finished with an antique-gold hand bound metallic edging. They are light enough to wear all day!

Pair with our woven jackets and shorts. Wear them with everything from smart shirts to evening dresses.

Handwoven 100% cotton shawls with an asymmetric length-wise stripe inspired from ceremonial sashes and throws. These delightful multi use Kheis shawls can be worn by women and men alike and also serve as wonderful bed throws. Medium to heavy weight cotton that softens with use. Each one has a unique pattern and have been hand woven on a pit loom by master weaver Lal Buksh in AMB village. A mix of natural and conventional dye is used with carefully curated colour palettes.

Style tip: Drape over shoulders for dramatic style with a coat or a dress for effortless cool glamour.

A comfy and stylish dress perfect for breezy days. Each one-off piece is individually hand embroidered with pearlescent cotton yarn and mirrors in carefully selected colours on flowy printed viscose. This dress is in a traditional shape with pleated stitched sides providing room and comfort. The neckline is embroidered with embroidered detail following all along the back too. Embroidered sleeve cuffs.

Please note: this style does not come with a belt it is the authentic style of Gajj in AGJ village.

Generous One Size 

Gajj is the traditional tunic the AGJ women makers wear as part of their community tradition and identity. Each one here is an authentic piece made by one craftswoman with her sense of colour and pattern on fabrics meticulously chosen by our designer/maker founder, Seher. Slight alterations to the sleeves, shape and length have been made from the original traditional style to emphasise the heavily embroidered neck front.

Our jackets have signature S jo aesthetic combining modern silhouettes with bohemia. This unique jacket is 100% cotton, hand woven on a pit loom by master weaver Lal Buksh in AMB village, collaged with hand embroidered panels from AGJ village.

The cloth panels and embroidery are carefully selected and pieced together to create one of a kind jackets that have a boxy fit. Medium weight cotton that softens more with use. A mix of natural and conventional dye is used with carefully curated colour palettes.

  • Sponge clean embroidered areas

  • Handwash textile chains by gently dipping in lukewarm soapy water to clean, repeat with fresh water and hang to dry
