Mala necklace - Turquoise blue seagreen
This versatile loop necklace can be worn on its own or layer with our Mahira necklace and/or the Bonbon necklace for a statement unique to you. This necklace is a long style which can be looped once or twice around the neck. The necklace is hand bound in the finest cotton and metallic thread, with intermittent embroidered elements with mirrors finished with beads and S jo sterling silver logo.
Style tip: Pair with one of our jackets and high waisted trousers/skirt.
Hand made by village based craftswomen in Southern Pakistan using the highest quality of local yarns. We use beautiful embroidery grade cotton yarns with a silk-like sheen and handmade metallic yarn for all our designs. Cotton provides durable and comfortable wear against skin.
Our ethos is to keep all pieces special to both maker and wearer, so there is only one of each colour combination in any style. We work to co-design, design exchange and collaborative principles, the artisans and the founder of S jo (Seher), work together to create various pieces - that nurture creative expression and freedom.
Mostly, the artisans do their own colour palettes and compositions of the pieces to develop individual styles. All pieces come with a label that tells you the name of the craftswoman who made your piece and a village code.
